Q – My base is not tracking any Satellites?
A – This is most likely a connection issue:
- Check the cable that goes between the White Zephyr Geodetic Antenna and the Yellow 442/542
- This could be loose cables, or moisture inside a connection
- or this can also be a sign of a bad cable end, worn, frayed, loose.
- In a very small percentage it could be a faulty GPS Antenna (<1%)
Q – My FmX or TMX does not drive my valve?
A – 2 things may be going on:
- Close the field and go to Settings (Wrench) and click on WM Drain, and click Setup, and go to Valve Setup
- It should display your Valve Module (VM420, VM410, or VM415)
- Right below that if it says “No Valve” then the settings did not get saved, Change to PT or PWM depending on your valve type.
- Gold Digger – PWM
- Most Machines more than 5 years old PT
- If this was the case click OK, and click on Implement, and click Save Config, and click Save.
OR
- Close the field and go to Settings (Wrench) and click on WM Drain, and click Setup, and go to Valve Setup
- It should display your Valve Module (VM420, VM410, or VM415)
- If your Valve Module says N/A, then it is a communication issue
- Unplug both connectors from your valve module leave them unplugged for 10 seconds
- Power Down your FmX, and while the FmX is powering up reconnect the connectors to your valve module.
- Go to the Settings (Wrench), and click WM Drain, and click Setup, and go to Valve Setup
- Your Valve module should now be displayed and functioning, to prevent this do not start your machine while the FmX is powered up.
