**Please Note** Even though LiDAR is reasonably accurate and mildly easy to work with, it does not take the place of an actual survey collected with RTK. My personal recommendation is to use use the LiDAR Data for estimates but not for installing tile.<\/p>\n

What is LiDAR?<\/strong><\/p>\n

LiDAR, which stands for Light Detection and Ranging,<\/em> is a remote sensing<\/a> method that uses light in the form of a pulsed laser to measure ranges (variable distances) to the Earth. These light pulses\u2014combined with other data recorded by the airborne system\u2014 generate precise, three-dimensional information about the shape of the Earth and its surface characteristics.<\/p>\n
